Finecraft

Premium kitchens & bespoke joinery

We design bespoke kitchens and joinery that blend artisanal woodwork with sophisticated home interiors.

The studio

Thirty-five years at the bench and on the drawing board, brought into one workshop in the Adelaide Hills.

Finecraft was founded by Alan Graef, a time-served joiner and cabinetmaker who began his trade in Scotland and went on to become a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS, MAIQS, CQS). That pairing shapes how we work: joinery drawn, priced and made by people who understand both the timber and the build around it.

Selected work

Kitchens, residences and hospitality fitouts. Each project page covers the brief, the timber, the scope and how it was made.

By design. By machine. By hand.

By design

Every commission is measured, drawn and detailed before a sheet is cut, so what you approve is exactly what gets made.

By machine

CNC routing and panel saws where accuracy matters: tight reveals, flat panels and repeatable parts.

By hand

Fitting, finishing and final judgement stay with the people at the bench. We do not sell generic, off-the-shelf flatpack kitchens.

Who we work with

Homeowners

A kitchen or joinery that suits how you live, with a fixed, itemised price for the agreed design before work begins.
